Research your Subject
Our example item was priced at £180-£220. Even assuming a perfect description and photograph, a quick browse through previously sold (and unsold) items on the same site would have shown that it was still unlikely to sell for that price.

Look around to see what people are paying for items like yours; there's no point asking millions for something that's just sold elsewhere for twenty quid.

Income or Space?
It's a fine line between what you could get for your item, and what you will get. Ask yourself whether you'd prefer the money, or the space in your house, and price your item accordingly.

Price with Confidence
Remember, for items over £10.01, you pay kidstuff 10% of your list price, regardless of any offer you accept on your doorstep. Pitch it right in the first place, and have the confidence it will sell without the need to accept offers.

Your Listing Lasts a Month
Remember also, your listing lasts a month. You don't have to accept offers at all, and certainly not in the first week.
